Currently Loving: Chic Black and White

Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 Couture

The Fall 2011 Couture shows are in full swing in Paris. I am majorly loving the chic, elegant simplicity of the look pictured above by Giambattista Valli. The classic lines of a tailored men’s shirt and a pencil skirt will never go out of style. The beauty in this look, like with anything else, is definitely in the details. The monogram on the shirt and the metallic thread in the tweed skirt give the look a special touch. Did you happen to see the full Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 Couture Collection? I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have been inspired by Coco Chanel.

{This vignette from Nuevo Estilo reminds me of the Giambattista look—clean, classic lines with a few special details.}

Good morning, Paloma!

How are you doing?

I love black and white. Can it get more classic than that? Really chic and timeless.

Love this collection to pieces! But my all time glamourous favorite is the Elie Saab.
