I am so excited to bring you this giveaway! La Dolce Vita has partnered with Design Camp’s founders, Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis to offer one lucky reader a free ticket ($1,297 value) to the next Design Camp in Atlanta. In a nutshell, Design Camp is comprised of two days and nights of learning, designing, connecting, lunches, cocktail parties and life long relationship brand building. The first Design Camp in Austin last month was a big success with over 120 attendees.

The two-day Design Camp seminar is hosted and instructed by Celebrity Interior Designers Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis, with special guests segments led by local and national industry experts in niche fields. The next camp in Atlanta from January 30th -February 1st will be held at the Fox Theater. Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles will be the media sponsor and they’ll have a fabulous line up of talented and seasoned speakers including Ronda Carman, Susanna Salk,  Adam Japko, and many more inspiring members of the design industry.

The course is tailored for design professionals and design aficionados. Each day runs from 9AM-6PM and is broken down into 8 segments per day. Drinks, Snacks, Lunch, and Cocktail parties are included. By the end of Design Camp, attendees will have the confidence and ability to run successful modern-day design careers, execute magazine- ready interior projects, take their careers to an entirely new level, network and collaborate with local suppliers and colleagues.

I am personally planning to attend the Design Camp in Atlanta and hope to see some of you, including the lucky winner of this giveaway there!

Its funny that I was told just today that I should take the plunge into Interior Design. I've been a Real Estate professional since I was 18, and feel that my taste has been part of what has made my home investments sell so quickly.

My fingers are crossed that I'm chosen as the winner!

I would love to attend because my specialty is in home organizing. While I have personally cultivated a love of interior design, as well, I don't feel confident in my ability to advice clients in that regard as I lack any real training. Adding that aspect would be a huge injection for my business!

I would love to attend this Design Camp & I would love to take my 25 year old daughter who is attending Design school at The Corcoran in Washington DC. We are a family of artists, designers, stylists, as my mother in law is also an interior designer/artist in New York. I am a Hair Designer in VA & I dabble in interiors as well. Color Theory is something that binds us all together. We share many thoughts, blogs, ideas....I regularly follow your blog & enjoy your thoughts, comments, & inspirations. Thanks for sharing~hopefully we will be considered for your giveaway.

Oh how i would love to go to Design Camp. I have just graduated with a interior design diploma and i am sort of stuck as to what to do now. there is so much competition in my area that taking a risk on a new designer does not seem to appeal to most clients. perhaps it is a confidence issue. This could be just the thing I need.

Hi Paloma!

I work for a financial advisor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I spend a good part of my day obsessing over pinterest, design blogs (especially yours), and online websites looking for deals and things for my home that I can actually afford. I have always loved design but lately I have started to wonder.... Why am I not doing this for a living???? All through high school and college I could never find a career I LOVED. I am almost 25 now and somehow ended up here at this job. Going to Design Camp could be the start of a new career that truly makes me happy. They always say "Do what you love and you won't work a day in your life!"

I can't win because I am a speaker at Design Camp but I am so excited that someone will get to win a ticket to go! It's the most amazing two and a half days a serious interior designer can experience. The amount of valuable, "spot-on" info and take-aways for your design business is worth ten times the cost of this event. Not kidding. Lori and Kelli have pulled out all the stops for these events and I was so amazed in Austin. I knew the line-up was daunting and even as a speaker, I was a bit intimidated (and I'm hard to intimidate). I had NO idea that much educational and real - "new" world info could be shared in under three days. So congratulations ahead of time to the winner! You are never going to forget this event! See you there. Katy A. Garrett/Connexionsoft

What a fabulous and exciting opportunity! Design Camp is just what I need to get my head back in the game after having a baby in June and mothering two under two! Between the baby brain and sleep deprivation, I need to be around "with it" people like Lori and Kelli to reignite my passion and tweak my business plan to better serve me and my family. AND, Atlanta makes it just close enough for me to drag the kids and hubby along! Fingers crossed!!

Despite my degrees in advertising and PR and experience with event planning, it wasn’t until recently I realized design, in all forms, is truly my passion. Whether it is online branding, event styling, personal styling or home furnishing my dream is to design lifestyles. I believe in curating your life and I think attending design camp would help me get started as a life and style designer.

Paloma,

I would be beyond thrilled to win a coveted spot at Design Camp! I read Lori's story about her start in design. Our early beginnings are very similar. I have loved design since I was a little girl. For so many reasons, I didn't follow my heart and pursue a career in design. I stepped away from my career to raise my two boys for the past five years. It wasn't a family friendly career path. Now, as I contemplate my next step, I need to follow my heart, my dreams, my passion and pursue a career in interior design. It would make my whole year to be lucky enough to win this opportunity!!
